Creative Expression!

Our Reinbows are effective communicators and this is evident in the way they depict stories and events using both verbal and non verbal language. Using the art of drawing the children are able to create images in detail, about how they perceive images and then explain each item to their educator in order to have it written down for others to read.
The Sunshines continued exploring the taste of different things this week and today they explored our garden by searching for some garden herbs. The children were excited as they explored the smell of our herbs even though they were a little bit hesitant to taste them!! The children participated in this experience to investigate and explore new ways of smelling and exploring textures.
The opportunities are endless when it comes to our Zen Garden! The Reinbows have been having a grand time creating and using their imaginations whist engaged in this relaxing experience. Next we need to collect some pebbles and other natural items to add to continue building on this important element of loose parts play!
Our busy community of learners are really engaged in loose parts play at the moment! Canvassing ideas together to plan, resource and create miniature cities😍. Today’s little Rei’s of Sunshine – tomorrow’s future!

Our little community of early learners loved using a variety of creative mediums to express love to their family and friends today! Celebrating cultural events together as a community helps to foster a strong sense of belonging and identity in each child and encourages feelings of care,empathy and respect!
